Take a pan , add 2 tablespoon of oil and heat.
Once oil is hot , add mustard seeds , let it splutter.
Now add jeera /cumin seeds , once it starts to change colour add curry leaves, green chillies.
Add roughly chopped onions, turmeric powder and saute well , till it turns translucent.
Add in grated ginger and saute for a minute.
Now add in chopped tomatoes and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Add chilli powder , salt and asafoetida , mix well everything.
Continue to cook till tomatoes turns soft.
Now add bread cubes and mix well everything. Cook for 5 minutes. If bread is very dry then sprinkle 1 teaspoon of water .
Finally add chopped coriander leaves and squeeze in fresh lime juice.
Serve hot with Masala Chai.
