Take ⅔ or ¾ cup sugar in a mixer ,add cardamom pods and blend to a fine powder. Set it aside till use.
Heat 2 tablespoon of Ghee on a thick bottom pan , add raisins fry well till golden brown and remove .
Add in cashew pieces and fry till golden brown , remove and set aside for later use.
In the same pan , add 1 1 /4 cup of sooji and fry on a low to medium heat till rava grains looks separated.
Now add in fresh grated coconut to roast rava and continue to roast on a low heat , till aroma wafts.
Now add in powdered sugar to the rava/ sooji mixture and mix well.
Add fried cashews and raisins and mix well.
Turn off the heat,
Add ghee part by part to the rava mixture and mix it well.
Sprinkle milk , mix with sooji mixture .Take handful of sooji mixture and bind together like a ball to form ladoos of desired size.
Store in an airtight box and serve as needed.
