About this recipe
Strawberry Salsa is a flavorful dip that pairs well with chips. It's low on calories and is perfect for evening snack as well as you can serve as a party appetizer.
To make this flavorful fruit salsa dip I used my powerful Hamilton mixer jar to pulse everything together . But you can use food processor , if doing it in a large batch . Or simply use mini manual food processor to make this salsa in few minutes.
Though few prefer to finely chop all produce to make salsa , I recommend to process / blitz for just few seconds because it helps all the juices to meld well together and you can serve immediately too.
I served this salsa with nacho chips but I guess it can really go well on bruschetta and crostini.

Ingredients
Few basic and minimal ingredients are needed to make this tasty fruit salsa .
Strawberries - Use fresh sweet strawberries to make this salsa. If strawberries are sour then you may need to add some extra sweetener in this recipe . Also you may need to reduce the amount of lime juice. Frozen strawberries doesn't work well in this recipe.
Onion - Use 1 small size onion which yields roughly about ⅓ cup when chopped . You can use red , white or yellow onion in this recipe.
Pepper - Use a small jalapeno pepper . If not available you can use any pepper that is easily available. Remove seeds and use in the recipe.
Cilantro / Coriander - You need to use both stalks and leaves of coriander in this recipe. Stalks in this salsa add really nice flavor so don't skip on this.
Lime Juice - just few drops are sufficient to add on to a tanginess in this recipe. But be sure to taste strawberry and then increase or decrease on the adding lime juice into your salsa.
Seasoning - Salt , Sugar and Pepper powder is what I have used here. Instead of sugar you can use any other sweetener like honey or maple syrup .
