Carom Seeds ( Ajwain ) - contains high levels of thymol, a compound that aids release of gastric juice from the stomach, thus speeding up the process of digestion.
Fennel Seeds ( Saunf)- contains Anethole that helps to reduce inflammation . Fennel seeds are known to soothe swelling or irritation in the intestines and improve digestion. Soothing muscles in the stomach and intestines helps to relieve gassiness that’s from constipation or acid reflux.
Cumin Seeds ( Jeera ) - increase the activity of digestive enzymes, potentially speeding up digestion.
Asafoetida (Hing) - In Ayurvedic medicine, hing is used to aid digestion and gas. Though recommended , if not available you can skip.
Mint Leaves - When it comes to medicinal uses, mint is most popular remedy for digestive problems and IBS.

How to make anti bloating tea
In a saucepan , take 600 ml of water
Add cumin seeds , carom seeds , fennel seeds , asafoetida and few mint leaves.
Bring water to rolling boil and reduce heat.
Let water reduces to half the volume (300 ml)
Allow to steep for 10 minutes.
Strain tea into a cup.
Finally , add honey if required and few drops of lime juice.
Sip warm

- 2 teaspoon carom seeds
- 4 teaspoon fennel seeds
- ¼ teaspoon asafoetida
- 5-6 crushed mint leaves
- ½ teaspoon honey - optional
- Lime juice few drops - optional
