Going forward ,I add black raisins , dates and beets to this salad to deliver what it claims . I recommend this bean sprout salad to most of my clients as it boosts health. Its wholesome meal on its own and a great way to kick start the day.

Ingredients
Mung Bean Sprouts or green gram sprouts are the main ingredients here. Homemade sprouts are best , just make sure to rinse well before using in the recipe . One day germinated sprouts are best for this recipe as its nutrionally dense.
Pomegranate and Beets - These two ruby reds helps a lot in producing RBC , so no compromise here.
Black Raisins or Monukka raisins contain natural anti-oxidants and are rich in iron. They help eliminate impurities from blood, reduce blood pressure, hair loss, keep anemia at bay. Hence its must here in this recipe . If its not available , you can use golden raisins too as an alternative.
Dry Dates - I recommend to use soaked dry dates here . Soaked dry dates will be lightly hard and chewy as compared to soft dates. This gives a slight crunch to the salad.
Other ingredients - Salt , cumin powder, pepper powder , green chilies, coriander leaves and lime juice , all these adds flavors and taste to salad.
Variations
You can add any chopped onions , grated carrots and cabbage also to make more of a veggie salad.
Incase if you have a week gut and if your body feels gassy to beans , then in such cases you can always steam sprouted mung beans and follow the recipe.
How to make sprouts salad
Soak dry dates in water for 1-2 hour or overnight. Cut open, remove seeds, chop and set aside.
Homemade sprouts are always best . Make sure to rinse sprouts before using it in any recipe.
Into a mixing bowl add sprouted mung beans, pomegranate arils, black raisins, chopped dates, beet juliennes , green chili and coriander leaves.
To season , add salt , pepper , cumin powder and lime juice
Mix well everything and consume mung bean sprout salad instantly!

Ingredients
- 1 cup Sprouted Mung bean
- ½ cup Pomegranate arils
- 2 tablespoon Black Raisins
- 4 no’s Dry Dates - soaked
- ¼ cup Beet - julienne
- 1 green chilli - chopped
- 2 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves
- ½ lime juice - freshly squeezed
- ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- Black salt to taste
- Pepper powder to taste
Instructions
- Soak dry dates in water for 1-2 hour or overnight. Cut open dates , remove seeds, chop and set aside.

How to store left outs ?
I always recommend to make this salad fresh and finish it . Though it doesn't spoil , from nutrition view point, it's better to consume fresh. Incase if you still have left over , store in air tight container and refrigerate. While serving , microwave for 20 seconds and serve.
Can I give this to Diabetic patients ?
Yes, of course you can. Diabetic patients can consume up to 2 tablespoon of raisins daily but moderation is always the key , don't overdo it. As it includes dates too , if serving for diabetic patients you can reduce dates and adapt this sprouts salad recipe.
Which is the best time to have this salad?
Morning breakfast is best . But for snacking , I would rather recommend for mid morning snack than for evening (4.00pm) snack. Because few may feel gassy and bloating ,when had during evening snacks.
Within how many days , HB levels increases ?
In general cases within 14 days you'll start noticing the changes but 45 days are highly recommended. But ,please note each individual and each body is different, it works differently.
